Integrate with Slack in Alta

Follow these steps to successfully sync Slack to your AI Chatbot

Create a new Slack Workspace

1. In your Browser, Go to the Slack Website

2. Click on the Arrow next to "Launch Slack" and Click on "Create a new workspace"

3. Enter in your email then click "Continue"

4. Enter in a Name for the Workspace and click on "Next"

5. Enter in a Description for your Work and Click "Next"

6. Add in the emails of any other coworkers you wish to add to the workspace. Otherwise, click "Skip this step"

7. Click on "Continue to Checkout" if you wish to purchase additional features. Otherwise, click on "Start with the limited, free version"

Syncing Slack in Alta Chatbot

8. Go to app.alta.so and Select your Created Chatbot

9. Click on "Add Data"

10. Click on Connect to Slack

11. Click on Allow

12. Click on Publish Chatbot

13. Click on Copy Link

14. Open your chatbot in a new tab, and you will now see the "Chat with Human" button

Testing

15. Click on the "Chat With Human" Button

16. Enter in your email address

17. In your Slack Workspace, you should now see a new chat created
